@KynKongKali have a look at my vids on how to use Sonar 8… If you click on the clip you want to loop. Then hold down the Ctrl and press the “L” key. It will turn it into a acid like loop..

dumb question here… but my program will not preview midi files. It will play them, but it will not preview when I click the preview play button. I have to put them into my song to hear them. Any way to fix this?

To set your inputs and copy the settings to multiple tracks create the 1st track and set your input then copy the entire track. You can also right click and clone the track making as many copies as you want/need

4 mb of ram? O.o I think you mean 4gb, you wouldn’t be able to run the program with 4 mb.

simply create a track choose your input and then clone to how many tracks you need. thats how to do that stuff

    click “tracks” on the menubar
    hover mouse over properties
in the submenu that pops up click inputs
this dialogue that opens lists all the tracks.
hold control while clicking each track you want
    then choose the input source.
if most the tracks are gonna be the same input, then ctrl+A
then continue to hold ctrl while left clicking the ones you dont want to adjust.
thanks for the videos, very useful
