Fantastic tutorial video!  Very well spoken and effective, because, I am a beginner in the music world and with using Sonar, and you spoke slowly and “down to earth” so to speak without getting over technical.  Great job and thank you very much for your video.

Wow great video. This is what I was looking for. Ok,  I have Sonar X1 LE it came with the Yamaha KX61 controller. I did all the steps you  said and it was pretty easy. Analog Factory synth came up in the plug in Manager, but when I tried to open it via insert It wouldn’t open. Does Sonar X1 LE allow VST’s inside of it? I know it limited but is that one of the limits? t
    Thanks

Hello Brian!  Thank You for your Videos!  I’m troubleshooting recording Soft Synths.  @ 6:10 , Sonar isn’t recording sound.  I’m Record Enabling, etc.  Any Suggestions?  THANK YOU!  ( If You’re interested, here is a link to a Song that I created, in part, with an Audio Interface on Sonar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JczlwQC7nk4 )

I’ve used Cakewalk since Pro Audio 9 version. Sonar definitely has some upgrades! Wishing I could get my notes from my Akai MPK249 to scrub in staff view when I press a key at the playback head. Woudl help get my chords in place. I”m so used to the staff view. How would I acheive this?
