There are few comments here, because the Software is a real dud.¬† There is nothing innovative here.¬† Studio One V3 blows this away.¬† And I’m no fanboy, I’m a pro working in PT’s, Cubase, and Logic…oh, and S1v3 of course.¬† I cringe when clients demand others.¬† It’s brilliant.

Cakewalk videos are the worst…they are never down to earth. I just want a yo yo yo lets make a beat! But its always a crap song they demo or some 1970’s tutorial! Not connected to real people…it’s not an old mans software but thats who they pitch it to. Just make a beat, a song using the tools and stop with the 1950 style tutorial…yawwwwwwn!

“Imagine a daw with customizable interface”…. uh, every daw I’ve ever used post 1998?¬† Also, why does this guy emphasize almost every word as if he’s talking to a child?

hi. do u know how to change the setting for the “timeline meter”. in the piano roll view and track view? sometimes it follows the timeline, and sometimes it stays in one spot? very annoying.

You should start with the selling points an features of the DAW. It still looks intimidating and cluttered.

I regret to say that this interface is very overwhelming, perhaps with too much¬†user¬†flexibility – a “deer in the headlights” layout. Most users are content with linear¬†tracks as the center piece. The¬†default layout (in the demo version) buries the tracks into the background behind all sorts of fancy specialty items. Some items can certainly be minimized or moved around but then finding them again is like¬†searching a needle in a haystack.¬† SIMPLIFY ! I am a 10 year user of Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio and feel unsure of getting into this blitz interface. Perhaps there could be different default ¬†display layout templates from amateur to pro level? Maybe I missed this “display option” but then again it was not obvious in the graphical snowstorm of what is displayed ! To be fair, I must confess that I only played with the demo version for one day. My guess is that the learning curve is more like a month.

just buy studio one and forget about this shit

was thinking about getting this instead of protool. However, after hearing the voice recording and very noticeable really bad cheap plugin (making the voice sound digital and fake), i’ll pass.

Just something y’all should think of. Don’t advertise a product with bad sound quality. lol

I tried studio one and that shit was complicated…my track kept shrinking….when I tried editing…shit kept cutting my vocals in half all kinds of shit. I turned that shit off. Is this any easier….the only thing I can function is cool edit. I’m no engineer and studios are too expensive.
