Very similar to my mastering tutorial for LP9, but revamped for LPX and I threw in some more relevant information throughout. Thanks for watching! If you want the track, you can download it…

that was terrifying 😛 / you rock! appreciate your detailed explanations. you’ve filled in some important blanks for me that other “teachers” tend to miss, especially re: the decisions you make in each plug-in according to the voice you’re working with. *subscribes*

could you make a video for recording audio (vocals and guitar)? I would like some tips that hide static, hiss, and environmental sound. Thanks.

Thank you so much. Some of this stuff is straight foreign to me, but I’m confused as to why you’re saying it’s good at the end of the vid while your levels are living in the red. Is that normal?? Forgive me if it is, cuz I’m just a noob.

Mitch I am literally obsessed with your tutorials…brilliant objective tutorials. Only thing I’m really confused on is the Multi-Meter…is this plug-in affected differently at different points of time when you use it? Cuz you keep comparing old/new mixes with it, so I’m wondering how the plug in would be different on the same channel strip

When mastering, does every instrument used have to stay below the orange and reds? Or can I lower the main volume below the reds on the far right of the mixing board and that will be good enough? Dumb question, but I had to ask? Because when I’m making a song, I end up with sounds going into the reds after adding a bunch of sounds, it keeps getting louder and then I have to lower everything at the end to get them out of the red which takes forever and I end up with something that doesn’t sound the way I wanted it to. Is there a way to lower everything where it also lowers the volume dots as well, so I don’t have to go into each sound and do it manually?
