Not sure if you’ll see this now but were the guitar tracks you added a “clean” recording? then adding the clean recording on a track with an amp loaded gave it distortion? I assume so since amps were on the track prior but just wanted to ask!

How do I copy tracks, regions together with their channelstrip settings into a new project? Best would be with my automation too without rendering it into the audio file itself. Plz Help!!!

Wanting to import multiple songs into one master song to be used live: 1 stereo audio track matched with 1 midi track (each have been created in separate song files and work perfect on their own.
When I move MIDI and audio tracks between sessions and place a track after a previous track, the midi moves or no longer matches up or when it does for the pasted song, the other songs midi/audio shifts
I am unsure what buttons to check or uncheck to keep all pasted song data the same without effecting the other songs.
    Please help. thank you

How do you create a playlist when importing multiple files/takes? I’m not sure this is possible but X standardly layers them all on top of each other on one track.

Hey there! I am trying to break up one long, 20-minute file into multiple tracks without obnoxious sonic break/blip at the end and start of each. When I cut the file up into several regions and play within logic, they play seamlessly together, but once I export each region, they start and end with clear sonic blip. Any ideas? The 20-minute file is continuous sound throughout, so no obvious breaking points.

Difference between exporting and bouncing? Course there are two separate options under the file menu.
By the way, The video was helpful.
    Thank you.

I’ve been trying to figure the following out for months with no luck. Say I have a project that I’m collaborating on with someone else with the same project. I make a change to one track but I want to send the track to my partner without bouncing to audio. In Cubase I would simply export the track a track archive. This creates an XML file with audio files as well. Then one can import the xml file into the project and it would open the track with all plugins inserted etc. How can I do this in logic?

is there a way to get playback to happen from where you started the last playback instead of constantly moving the playhead back?
