I wish he would have mentioned the specs on the computer he was using since that would have the greatest impact on lowering the latency. for instance, running twin hard drives or twin SSD drives instead of one dual partition drive would give the optimal performance. also running drives in RAID would make a drastic improvement on sample accessing.

Are MOTU ever going to add an elastic audio type feature to DP? I’m still on dp8 waiting patiently for this to come – could you at least indicate whether you have an intention to do this at some stage?

+motuTV Could you please tell me more about the computer specs? I plan to buy a new PC or MAC, and cause mostly a work with Kontakt libraries, it would be amazing if i could run as many as in this video 😛 Seeing this video, i think you’ll have a new costumer soon, cause DP9 is really amazed me :O

Is this using anything in addition that isn’t mentioned? Like Vienna Ensemble Pro, or Bidule? Or is everything hosted withing DP in the V-Rack? It seems almost too good to be true!!!

Search window for your tracks is what is missing from many DAWs. The more I dig into DP 9 the more I appreciate it. I write electronic music with Ableton live 9, but scoring experimental music is important to me. I believe in time I’ll have DP mastered and be able to utilize it for my needs, I can see why film composers love it, it’s magic.
