In seeking to identify a damaged plugin — I want to setup a 3rd party VST folder in Win7 Documents/Studio One while leaving the .dll file in its orig Programfile / Vstplugin location (to be safe). Q.: If I drag n drop I believe this will remove the .dll from its orig file location in ProgramFiles / Vstplugins vs copy n paste in where it will remain in ProgramFiles / VstPlugins. Your input is appreciated. Thanx, DM

I’m trying a demo of Studio One 3 and I cannot, cannot, cannot get anything I put in that place to work. I don’t see a VST plug-in tab anyway in the “Options” box, but no matter what folder I get it to point at with dlls in them, this is not working. I’m trying to connect this to EWQL PLAY software application (i.e. not the virtual instruments themselves).

It´s not working for me. is it because some of them are 32bits? My Studio one 2 is a 64 bits. Im using Windows 7 64 bits.

There is nothing that says “VST” anything in my program, nor in the program files. After “Instrument Library” there’s nothing. It’s Studio One Artist, is there a different way to do it?

Good day! When selecting the “Option” > “Locations”, I have Tabs: User Data | File Types | Sound Sets | Instrument Library (but, not “VST Plug-Ins”). How can I add this Tab? …or do I have an Old Pre-Sonus software? Thanks, in advance!

has anyone done this with EZDrummer 2? I cant figure out how to make Presonus Studio One and EZDrummer 2 recognize each other. NO WHERE on presonus’s site does it talk about this issue either.

Everyone looking for a VST tab in the Artist Edition, there’s an $80 add-on or upgrade. Question: I have the demo (free trial) version. Was hoping to try Sone3 with Toontrack EX Drummer2 to make sure everything works before buying it. Is the ability to add plugins disabled in the free trial?
